Rev. Piero Ottaviano
THE FOUNDER OF DIDASKALEION
Rev. Piero Ottaviano (Rocca d'Arazzo (Asti, Italy), June 2nd 1938 - Torino, August 30th 2005), Salesian Priest, dedicated his whole life to the study of Christian religion and to evangelization.
For many years he committed himself to the teaching of Catholic religion in “Liceo Segré” and in “ITIS Porro”, two high schools of Torino area. During these fecund years, he contributed to the cultural, human and religious growth of several generations of students. Along with this important mission on behalf of young people, he devoted himself to adults’ evangelization, putting his vast knowledge, his culture and his brilliant teaching methodology at the service of others, freely. The school he founded, the “Didaskaleion”, is still keeping on with his work, his teachings and his vision.
